My First Open Mic

Yesterday for the first time I attended and performed at an open Mic hosted by the Fremont Writers Group. There was a good crowd of around 18 and some great performances of poetry and prose.

Since this was my first visit I have not been introduced personally to many of the writers but I hope to do so in the cming days.

Everyone was given a 10 minute window to present their work, I was able to  present the following Poems

If the World Ever Runs out of Love
Time
Spelling Success
Where Did I go without a Hint?
When the World Calls out Valentine….

And two Tweet Fictions Mute Remote and Bleeding Acquaintance

It was a good experience though with the usual nervousness and a few illegible mumblings finally there is the presentation to a public audience

Hope to go to more of these meetings now

  1. I am glad to see you have a forum where you can recite your poems and seems people liked it when the complimented – where is the lady luck for whom you wrote these poems or even when they said any women will be lucky to hear such poetries :)Kudos to you and your imagination – let the world know there is a tender heart beneath that huge body :)Cheers
