Had no plans to watch Race-2 in the theaters…. but had no choice when the person at the ticket counter said there are no tickets for Vishwaroopam… We had liked Race 1 and so decided to give this a try….
It was a $7.50 ticket instead of the usual $14 so can’t complain much… The movie has some great action sequences and some nice twists and turns to the story…. but like many sequels it fails to meet expectations… If someone asks what my expectation was, I really don’t have an answer just that Race 1 was different and much better to watch…
Race-2 is more extravagant than the first part but the unrealistic scenes at times screws up the fun…. Agreed the movie is not suppose to resonate with our usual life… but still even an amateur critical eye can easily catch a few discrepancies…
Bottomline… you will not miss anything if you do not watch in the theatre…. And to say about acting, it is very difficult to say anything about acting as there is nothing much to act…
The movie is more like a labyrinth created by the writer and director where the actors are trapped and take turn trying to get out… so not much for the actors to contribute….
Not a theatre watch and you will be on the correct side of judgement if you wait for Netflix or when the video comes out…
