There are many things special about Special 26… the cast… the story… the excitement and of course the twists and turns that it takes you through….

After Wednesday Neeraj Pandey’s Special 26 brings out a thrilling narrative… Though I wanted to watch the movie last week… did not get a chance… But today it was worth the time spend..

The movie is in my opinion one of the best Heist movies I have seen in Indian Cinema… if not the best one… There have been other heist movies that is loosely connected on Hollywood movies that make you cry as they try to indianize the theme… But Special 26 is different…. It is out an out and Indian Heist movie…

There is a comic element to the movie, And the timing is perfect… but the director has also made sure to keep it subtle in order to have the seriousness of a thriller intact…

It would be a good idea to go and watch the movie in the theaters

One disclaimer (added Later): If you have seen Wednesday and expect same… you could be surprised a bit….Not because this movie is bad…. but because there are some factors that don’t exist like Nasseruddin Shah and the absolutely unique plot that Wednesday served 🙂
