When someone stands up against Sausages the victory is that of Tofu, Baba ganoush, healthy veggie wraps and more…  Add a poetry to it and it is more fun… An independent movie from 2010 it tells the story of a Graduate who majored in Poetry and starts a food stand…

With no work and credit card debt the poet bill decides to start a food stand.. and instead of selling hot dogs he decides to go green with organic vegetables and other healthy choices… An interesting pick, and the movie was made on a tight budget I presume…

I liked the movie for the way the story was told… it has a message and it has a perception of urban life and choices we make… It has a very strong line of how people come together and try to help each other so that all in the game get benefited…

There is one poem that the Happy Poet recites… that’s all it has with poetry… but the movie was a worthy watch… if you like slow but interesting movies from the indie genre… go see it on netflix…
