What should I be retaining this Week

There is so much we consume and create in a week. I am not talk about food but Articles, Videos, Podcasts, Conversations and more. What do we retain? Or what is it that is worth retaining. What thoughts do they create in us?

I have decided to share with you Every Sunday what I think I should retain and what thoughts that came in mind are worth carrying on with me. You should too. These might be anecdotes, ideas, one liners, statements, questions. They might not be even connected. And I know some weeks there will not be anything worth sharing.

  1. Big Books and Long Conversations are important in our life ahead. They allow us to go deep into something and make us feel less lonely in a fast paced world.
  2. The best thing to connect us humans with opposite views is our imperfections. We are so equal in the existence of our imperfection.
  3. I realized this week that my goals have changed. I also figured out that I was not aware when they were achieved and I kept on doing them again and again
  4. I don’t need to understand everything happening. I need to know only that which will make this day a tad better than before. I will always miss out even with the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
  5. Every argument we have is not about winning; Some can also be had for the purpose of Learning and understanding a different perspective. We just need to be open to it.
  6. Writing down all the important thoughts that came to me in the week will help me use them more often in life. And posting them online will help others do the same. Sharing thoughts
