to make us feel safe
a false safety..

I will not speak of you
and you will not speak of me
truce….

but there is a loud rule
written in that silence
unread by us….

I will not speak FOR you
You will not speak FOR me
We are not one
You are the other
so am I ‘the other‘ to you…

They want us to be obedient
Not ask questions
They have answers posted on the walls
your questions need to live up
to those answers

Some people live in a world
where answers exist before
questions are born 🙏
