4/365 Writers mean harm | Poetry

A word swims to the other end
in an ocean of thoughts..

words can also drown in thoughts

But, yes, there are expectations
how much can a word carry
the burden on these little words

the writer thinks it is a word’s fault
and the word also thinks…. it is its fault

And the writer gets all the credit
for all the pain of a stuffed up word
how much they have to struggle to convey

writers also drown… but alone… lonely…
in their own ocean of thoughts
it happens often… way too often

What can a word do
if the writer is no good..

words don’t mean harm
but writers do…. yes writers do…
