Break from the unknown

Unknown, unwanted, insecure and cruel
The maladies of life they shrink and then grow again
A glimpse of yesterday is still imprinted on today
Making insignificant the future you chase

While some unknown wise is calling the timid a fool
The mean and unkind are lending hand to the insane
While the world you knew is holding you from being astray
The flying time makes you devoid of the essence of space

A break from life is all you need
To sit back and assess its speed
Taking the courage, a Break from all you’ve ever known
For you will know you always walked beside the unknown
