Marked for Death

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

When the world walks around
Unknown of how they will die
I walk with my head high
Knowing how I will meet with mine

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told them a few things
And they felt I was better dead
How Fortunate I am
For having spoken my heart

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told them those Roses
Are meant to adored, appreciated and valued
Not plucked off their beauty
To adorn their selfish vase

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I was ridiculed when I told that
Money is for those who have it enough
So they can share it all with
The ones who had none

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told them that wars
Are not solutions for peace
But events of the evil termite
That eats the coffins of good

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told them their children
Will be tomorrow’s heroes
If only they are taught to love
And that hatred was bad

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told that the blind could see
They see through their heart
And that the eyes of the heart
Don’t see enmity amongst us

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told all religions were one
And that I belong to none
I went on to say that my god
Lived in me and theirs in them

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told them to leave the noise
To find peace in silence
And to hear the birds chirp
And the rivers flowing deep

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

I told them that I am their friend
Not an enemy of their thoughts
It’s just that I talk not from my head
But from the bottom of my own heart

I am Marked for Death
So fortunate to say

If I don’t write this before I die
The world will never know the reason ‘Why?’
I am marked for Death, my friends ‘marked for death’
And now the World around knows why
