My Travels

I lost my words in the town
On the street where the poets live

I reached the city of the beautiful dames
With a short sight and no glasses

I got down in the town of thieves
And lost my wallet the very next minute

I walked into a town full of blind
In search of light to read a book

I lived in a city of unknowns
And before I knew I forgot my name

In a town full of friends
I forgot my sorrows

In a town full of lucky bastards
Like an idiot I tried my luck and lost

The mad invited me to their town
Where I spend time talking to walls

A little city full of children
Reminded me of my mother’s hug

I was forcefully pulled into a house of worship
And I forgot god for the first time in life

A land of dreams let me spend a night
And I lost in touch with what was real

The town of comedy invited me to stay
I obliged but forgot all my wits

In the town where my loved ones lived
I forgot the pain of parting for the time

I lived for a day in an animal farm
That was the day I learned to be silent

And Then I realized the crux of my travel

All the while when I lived with Humans
I saw humanity loose every day of my life
