What the heck is the problem..? There is so much hue and cry over the Time Magazine article that says Manmohan Singh is an underachiever… Well It is a Magazine’s job to report opinions based on the research it does…. The for and against teams had lined up and have been demanding explanations from every living soul…. Is this the biggest problem that rocks us now…

Sadly two other recent incidents that should have blown the living daylights of everyone gets a much colder response from authorities…

These issues should concern every indian inside and outside india and that includes you too babus in the power. One is the issue at Shantiniketan where a student was made to drink her urine as a punishment for wetting the bed.. The second is the story about the French diplomat who has been accused of raping his minor child.

While the fact that it happened is a reason for concern what is alarming is the lethargic way in which the authorities look at this issue.. A common notion running in the indian media is that authorities always hold the “Chaltha Hai” attitude translated as the “It is ok” in these kind of situations.

Why is it OK, where are the loud voices that shout against Time Magazine for telling something that might be a true statement after all.. Is it because the minors who have been victims cannot voice themselves?

It is sad….pathetic and should make people angry…..
