Life is at times like a sail in the river
Sometimes smooth while at times real rough
With the raging winds that make you shiver
And the turbulent water that make sailing tough

In those moments when you feel the shore is so far
That your shoulders can’t handle the burden any more
Believe that we are in this together
It’s the same boat we both sail my dear

I will take you safely to the nearest land
Away from the winds that rage and roar
For when I took your hand in my hand
I did so for life and not a flash of pleasure

Be it a ferry where navigation is tough
Or be it the life that worries your mind
We are in this game together for life
Just be safe and hold on to my hand
