27/30 | Workout Work-in Poem | National Poetry Month 2018

Today there will be more sweat
in every repetition
in every squat, in every pushup
every Burpee will be an eternity long

There is no drop of sweat –
that will taste sweet
or may be they are sweet, we
just don’t taste it..

The dumbbells will feel loved
and the kettle ball will whistle
I won’t let the bench presses go to bed
nor the elliptical take the stairs down

I will let it begin
till fat turns fart
and waves good bye…..
