You – #32 of 365 Poems

I will give way to a thought,
if it talks to me in a tone that I have forgotten
but wish it was still with me.

I will let the wind sweep me,
from my rock solid foundations,
If it can promise
that it will never leave any footprints,
following which I can return home.

And I will let them all say I am lost
if they can for sure say
they have found themselves.

And you can stay with me
as long as you want
because I tell stories in which
words never go missing from their meanings.

  1. Love this! Especially the last line – “I tell stories in which words never go missing from their meanings.” Very deep. Nicely penned!
