I have never been a Garden guy. Nor much of a vegetable Guy. I mean I am very far from the word ‘ vegetarian’. To be honest I hate the job of watering plants. But they say try doing something you don’t really like and may be you will learn something new about life and about yourself.
So a few weeks back I started planting a bit; fruits, flowers and vegetables. Seeds and small plants bought from the nursery. I had a few goals in doing so.
Learn something new, Do something I really did not love but people seem to like, See if I can grow all that I want to live in the backyard. I know it is a long shot and needs a lot of changes to my life style and time that I will have to take out from other things into which my life currently fills and spills out.
Gardening was a good thing and they also said it is good to soothe your mind and you feel good when you grow something. Well lets see.Β And today as I was moving some of them out of the pots on to the ground I could see some small chillies hanging from one of it.
To be honest I felt something I have not really felt before. I have cucumbers and squash and Eggplants and papaya and strawberry in the making. Need Tomatoes and other stuff. Not sure hope long this will continue. But so far so good.
I also started with the composting process recently and like the way it is shaping. Can interest make the time I need to do it. I have no clue.
Now did I learn something about life?
Yes! That we don’t like something because we have not tried it. And that (for some people) includes beer and beef ππππππππππππππππππ
Did I learn something about myself?
Yes! that I like beef but can also grow vegetables. I like drinking, but I can also sweat ππππππππππππππππππ
