Yesterday I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I even went to sleep on the wrong side I think.
On my way to drop my son at school in the morning, he was actively chatting as usual about some YouTube video he watched. It was about some YouTube talking about their wait time in restaurant.
Like a total dick I told him how silly these YouTubes are and how they might be doing click bait and not telling the real thing. I went on a rant telling him that people also talk about other people’s experience like it was theirs and that we should not trust these stuff and so on. He kept quiet and then we reached the school and I drove to office.
When I reached my office I see a text from him “Papa, I try to talk to you about something and you immediately say that it’s fake. You say that YouTube are fake, does that mean you lie on YouTube”
I also make YouTube videos and this response from me mademy day. How profound kids can be when you tell them something. I messaged back that it was a good one and I love him.
This also made me think how many times we hurt people just because we woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
