A birth
is a moment of joy
A Death
painful for all

A poem happens
when something knocks on the door
of someone not ready to write

Poetry is not for everyone
if won’t feed you
it does not feed the poet.
it only saves the poet
from eternal doom
or does it?

No one needs a poem now
because they don’t have time
but when they are lonely
alone in their thoughts
a poem does magic

The poem takes you
to the company of thoughts
it tells you that things are not bad
or it will say
things are really bad
but you will survive

There is a poem in everyone
that is what they live
a unique form
a complete, best form
people are poems
