Moments that make me

I live for love and the love for life
In simple moments I live and love
Moments that connect me with you

Holding me up when I am down
And reaching to me when you need me

Walking with me when I am alone
And hugging me tight when you are scared

Slowing with me in a world running fast
And joining me as we chase our dreams

Picking me up when I have fallen
And falling on me when you are tired

Hearing me out when I blabber
And fighting with me over the TV remote

Making me smile whenever I am sad
And graciously smiling on my pathetic jokes

Telling me that this moment will also pass
And giving me another moment to cherish

I live for love and the love for life
In simple moments I live and love
Moments that connect me with you
