There are lullabies that are heard from far away Lullabies that once soothed the whole world but are now born silent everyday… There are Lullabies that are cut short by bullets and swords Lullabies that fall and evaporate on the deaf ears of guilty lords Lullabies that could never stop the cries because they were not rich enough to pay the price Lullabies that were … Continue reading Lullabies they hear and don’t
It is going to be a year the world has probably forgotten his name meant the name of truth and his quest to find it finally succumbed to unkind reality…. too brutal… too young.. too early accused by divinity imprisoned by authority charged with insanity he died with an unanswered inquiry where is our humanity…? where is our humanity…? Watched Raanjhnaa during weekend… the motivation was to see Dhanush in the hindi movie and that I heard it was the story about JNU politics…. But what I saw was shades of Male chauvinism across the characters and their dialogues….. Not sure if that was intentional or the story writer and filmmaker thought that is how life should be… well then there is an issue….

Watched Samaantar (parallel) a 2009 Marathi movie by Amol Palekar…. He also acts in the movie… for a long time at least in hindi I have not seen him on screen. And last time I experienced him behind screen was in Paheli in hindi… which for some reason did not give me a lot from Amol as a director…
But Samaantar is an interesting movie both from Amol as a director and from him as an actor that shows us that he still has that screen likability in him… Though his role is not exactly the next door guy of his younger ages.. the movie showcases the usual simplicity that is woven into his characters…

A smile I traced back to my past Inside … Continue reading The Intoxicated Road

I have always been of the opinion that Sreesanth is very immature and many a time bordering on clownishness… I also strongly believe he is a man of not much valor (which many of us making fun of him are not either) and that is the simple basis of my take here… Sreesanth with the above stats will turn out to be the most vulnerable … Continue reading Sreesanth..? Really…? May be the ball is blocking the Eyeball…. Here is my take….
