Poetry #1 – Welcoming National Poetry Month 2019
When words are born premature… converted to images not still but moving.. moving images… Somewhere in that journey we lose ourself.. But today… this one day NO.. this whole month… We need to get back to ourself for we can feel ourself alone… in an empty vessel.. we need words to fill it up with Some lives are like that.. they lose the meaning when … Continue reading Poetry #1 – Welcoming National Poetry Month 2019
Happy 12th Birthday Rahi
Wow!! one more year and you will be a Teen. It has become a norm to remind every year that you were born on the International Women’s day, but what the heck… it does matter because women gave birth to the world we live in. As I murmur…….
It is not for me to bother but yet I decided to climb; and as the clouds descended every step I found myself alone…. I have not dreamt in a paradise sky my earth has been too strong pulling me down my sleep has walked out on me and yet I cannot wake up…. Today I know that even a drop can mean fatal….. and … Continue reading As I murmur…….
Perunthachan (The Master Craftsman) SF Bay Area Sargavedi’s 2nd Theatrical Beauty
Yesterday I had a chance to watch Perunthachan (The Master Craftsman); the 2nd play by the SF Bay Area Malayalam Literary and Arts group Sargavedi. A much larger production in terms of crew and acts than their first Kattukuthira (Wild Horse) which successfully ran multiple venues in the United States. In my opinion this is a step close to big time serious Malayalam theatre in US. There … Continue reading Perunthachan (The Master Craftsman) SF Bay Area Sargavedi’s 2nd Theatrical Beauty
When You Look forward to Work Everyday
I have written many times before that I have hardly had Monday Blues… And I am honest, at least nothing serious that I remember of. But to be pragmatic I think that might have happened in the rarest of rare occasions. The reason for Monday Blues devoid work life has to do with three things. The company I work, The people I work with and … Continue reading When You Look forward to Work Everyday
Ship the accidental flood tourist (aka Kerala’s unwanted Guest) WhatsApp Audio Suresh from Kerala ASAP
An audio by some guy Suresh that made rounds on WhatsApp just as the relief efforts were in progress. He sounds so judgmental about people in Kerala and very snobbish…. His point is that only rich people are impacted by Kerala floods. How idiotic can that be… How can a flood in a state only impact rich people. And his ask that we need carpenters … Continue reading Ship the accidental flood tourist (aka Kerala’s unwanted Guest) WhatsApp Audio Suresh from Kerala ASAP
Identify & Block Misinformation and Fake news spewed by FB People, Pages and Sites.
Sharing this picture of a post in the FB page “I am with Barkha“. Dulquer-Irrfan Karwaan and some thoughts
The last time I saw a movie in an Indian theatre (if my memory is not failing me) was ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ sometime in 1997-1998. After leaving India, even though I regularly watch all movies, and come to India, I had never watched one in an Indian theatre. So Karwaan is a personal special. Leaving the personal side aside… Karwaan is a simple story … Continue reading Dulquer-Irrfan Karwaan and some thoughts
